The director of “Clowns-killer from space” would like to work on a mini-series
Soon a new television series that continues history may appear "Clown killer from space".
Movie "Clowns-killer cosmos" has long become a cult in the horror community. However, this is one of those rare films of the genre that has not received an official continuation. The Chiodo brothers (Stephen, Charles and Edward), who created the film together, have been unsuccessfully trying to make the continuation for several decades. In a new interview with SFX Magazine magazine, Stephen Chiodo, the director of the original film, said that now he is trying to achieve the approval of an eight -part series for streaming service, and not trying to shoot another full -length film.
My goal is to make an eight -series mini -series for streaming services. We have a great concept that continues the history of our main characters. We will follow the new group of teenagers who are faced with clowns and meet a drunkard living in his van – this is Mike Tobacco. There is a great invasion, and we find ourselves on the planet of clowns. You haven’t even seen clowns animals on the planet clowns yet. There is a whole world of things that we have planned!.
In the original film, released in 1988, Mike Tobacco is one of the main characters played by Grant Kreimer. Suzanne Snyder also played the role of Mike’s girl, Debbie, and John Allen Nelson – the role of Dave, police officer who turned out to be a former guy Debbie. The plot written according to the script of Charles and Stephen Chiodo tells about the invasion of clow -like aliens, armed with weapons, turning people into cocoons from cotton wool.
There were a lot of falseters of the sequel of the film, but it can not get out of hell developing. At some point in promising, adaptation of the television show looked when in 2018 it became known that Syfy would take up the project. However, the planned television show never saw the light, sending the Chiodo brothers back to the drawing board. However, on the way a video game, which can potentially help the franchise revive its popularity. This can open the door for the sequel, which will finally be discontinued.
