Former Rockstar developer would like GTA 6 to be smaller and denser
Former Rockstar employee expressed his opinion on what kind of content and size GTA 6 could be.
We all imagine that Rockstar’s ambitions in GTA 6 will surpass all precedents, but Tony Gawland, noted in games such as GTA Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, Chinathen Wars and even Red Dead RedMption, admitted that it was hoping that the card in the game is a map in the game will "Less and denser", than in the latest versions of the series.
If we talk about what I hope, then I personally would like the game to bring something new in terms of the size of the world. I think that a small but more densely populated location could return the unforgettable navigation that I liked in the original.
The only shots that I saw include several fragments from the leak, and I quickly stopped watching them. I find this really heartbreaking for the team, when all their hard work is first shown to the world in the shaking and incomplete form, and I would prefer to wait for the official trailer.
According to constant rumors and leaks that Gowland refers to, the GTA 6 action will take place in the modernized and rethought version of Weis City inspired by Miami. Having worked on Vice City Stories, Gowland explains why this city is such a cult place.
It’s funny, is it not true? When we completed work on Liberty City Stories, the team had many enthusiasts who said: "Yes, now we will move on to Vice City!". Personally, I believe that here you need to take into account two points. Firstly, the 1980s is a very memorable era, which at the time of the release of the game was a childhood of many gamers. There are many films and television series, firmly rooted in the culture and atmosphere of the 80s, and the Rockstar North and New Year teams did a fantastic work to transfer all this to the game.
Secondly, I think that the city works very well and has the ideal sizes characteristic of cities with the open world, which we have passed these days, where we could learn everything by heart. Honestly, I think that even now, if you left me anywhere in Wais City and set the task of going to a certain place, I would be able to completely pave my way to my way.
