Baldur’s Gate 3 leads in nominations for the Ny Game Awards, ahead of Alan Wake II and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
Just a couple of days after receiving the prizes “Game of the Year” and “The Best Plot Game” on the Steam Awards 2023 Baldur’s Gate 3, R is again prepared by the upcoming 13th annual New York Game Award Prize. The organizers recently announced a complete list of nominees during a direct broadcast, and the outstanding CRPG from Larian received six nominations in the categories of “Game of the Year”, “Best Scenario”, “Best World”, “Best Music” and “Best Acting” (twice, for Amelia Tyler in the role of the narrator Baldur’s Gate 3 and the Nile Newbon as a companion of the highest elf-vampire-robber Astarion).
The other two games that have received the largest number of nominations are also not something amazing, because after their release they were very well accepted. Alan Wake II from Remedy and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty from CD Projekt received five nominations, some of which were divided, for example, in the categories of the Games of the Year, Best Scenario, Best World and Best Acting ( Melanie Liburd in the role of saga Anderson and Idris Elba in the role of Solomon Reed). Alan Wake II was also nominated for the best music and Phantom Liberty for the best DLC.
